In March 2015 I photographed the night sky over the course of one night in the high desert of New Mexico, along a quiet stretch of Route 285 near Lamy. It was one of my first successful attempts with the night sky, and it sparked a love for making images alone in the darkness.
I have shared a few pieces from that night before, but never the full set. Now I am releasing them as a 12-page, full-color newsprint tabloid featuring 10 photographs.
It is not archival. It is meant to be held, enjoyed, and eventually fade like the memories themselves. Maybe even burned to start a campfire under the stars.
